St. Mark is geared toward developing 21st century
learners both in the lab and the classroom. The campus network, Wi-Fi
access, computer lab and 1:1 iPad program for 6th through 8th grades are
used to support student computer activities.
St. Mark Technology department develops student’s computer skills from Kindergarten - 8th grade by utilizing EasyTech®, and many other software applications.The Internet is utilized as a resource for the core subjects, and proper internet usage is taught.
Grades K - 2
Computer skills, such as manipulation of the keyboard and mouse, basic typing and entry-level software skills are introduced at this level. These are enhanced by age-appropriate software programs that compliment classroom instruction.
Grades 3 - 8
Microsoft Office products, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher are taught and students are expected to use these tools to complete portions of their coursework.
